Shuffled #56: South By
Every other Wednesday either Matt or Alex C-Y share their love of music in an assortment of ways. Shuffled is a podcast whose format is as varied as their tastes in music, so hopefully you won't ever be bored and everyone can find something to enjoy.
Let's talk South By Southwest this week. Or rather, let's listen in. There are many reasons people travel all the way to Austin, Texas for SXSW: Cool new social media ideas, independent films, multiple tech conferences. In the midst of all this, though, is a crazy amount of live music! Bands from literally all over the globe descend on Austin in a ferocious wave of sound. I can't make it there this year, but someday I plan on it! For now read on to hear tracks from bands and artists rocking out the whole week at South By.

The November Music Wrap-Up Podcast
November is over and the end of the year is fast approaching. Which pretty much means all of the best music of the year has been released (very little gets released in December). But don't worry, this is about November still. There were plenty of great releases for me to feature. Sure, a lot of them were EPs, but just because they're shorter than a full-length doesn't diminish their quality any bit. Plus, there are still great full-lengths from the likes of Animals As Leaders, Childish Gambino, Florence and the Machine, Quilt, Steel Panther, and Jonathan Coulton. So let's dig in to all the November has to offer, shall we?
