here is something i found just this morning. i am not quite sure i agree with all the man says, but it's definitively something to think about, and try to see where you stand.

love the quote about life being a bridge, cross it but do not build a house on it. i don't fully agree either but YES! life is transient. i feel people waste so much energy on trivial things and forget to just live. life is not forever, which is what makes it beautiful. people waste time and energy worrying about where they come from, where they'll go when they die (religion) that they don't see the awesomeness right in front of their eyes.

On another note, i agree that all things are collapsing/rotting and its supposed to do that! for there to be life and re-birth there must be death and deconstruction. its the natural order of things. nothing is permanent and its what makes it all worth it.

Yea man that's Alan Watts!! He is really great. Someone I know had given me one of his cd's on meditation and I couldn't stop listening.
