Unoriginal Soundtracks #104: Cities Skylines

Every other Wednesday, I share a playlist of songs tangentially related to a single game or series. Songs about alien sex for Mass Effect, world leaders for Civilization, and so on. Make requests to @USPodcast on Twitter.

Cities: Skylines is the best thing since playing with train sets and building blocks. It inspires this playlist of rock and soul.

Unoriginal Soundtracks #103: Life Is Strange, episode two

Every other Wednesday, I share a playlist of songs tangentially related to a single game or series. Songs about alien sex for Mass Effect, world leaders for Civilization, and so on. Make requests to @USPodcast on Twitter.

Life is Strange is becoming a personal contender for game of the year. Its slightly off take on America, similar to Alan Wake and Deadly Premonition, and its layered takes on high-school character tropes are deeply charming. This episode of Unoriginal Soundtracks features punk, hip hop, and soul about the events and characters of Life Is Strange episode two, and contains a bigger spoiler than usual for the show.
