Video Round-Up: Nostalgic Tech Edition

Video Round-Up is a weekly post collecting an assortment of videos from around the web. Whether they be music videos, creative viral marketing, just plain cool, or just plain ridiculous, they will all be found on Video Round-Up.

We're all fond of our old technology. We dig it up and spend weekends messing around with it. We convince ourselves that it is better than the stuff nowadays. Well, it probably holds up better than the stuff nowadays at least. I don't think anyone will be able to pull out their old 360s or PS3s in 20 years to show to their kids. Those will have broken loooooong ago.

I remember when the Scion cars came out and customizing them was the cool thing to do. If I had to customize a car -- or "pimp" a "ride", if you will -- it would be entirely themed around video games. Because that's awesome. Right? Well, I think everyone has to admit that this is kind of awesome.

We've featured a zany weatherman before, so zany news reporters are right up our alley. Is this what old people do for fun? I guess when part of your job includes sitting around for 2 minutes waiting to start working again, you'll find ways to kill the time.

YES! This! Stop it! Now!

It's always hilarious and adorable when old people decide to record and mock young children for not knowing about things that were created before they were born. I think they should have at least given them things that worked together. The one kid had the right idea when he tried to jam the Colecovision cart into the Gameboy, he just needed the right size game. My kid will likely know all about old video game technology, because I always have every one of my systems plugged in.
