Video Round-Up: New Generation Edition

Video Round-Up is a weekly post collecting an assortment of videos from around the web. Whether they be music videos, creative viral marketing, just plain cool, or just plain ridiculous, they will all be found on Video Round-Up.

You've seen the Kinect, but you haven't seen what the Kinect sees. You've played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, but you haven't played the new hotness. You've seen Mario rescue the princess, but you haven't heard him flip his lid. You've seen Inception, but you haven't seen the process used on a daily basis.

This is a sort of protest/petition rap song for a new Elder Scrolls game. I can't say I disagree with the request--that Bethesda should focus on this instead of a new Fallout--but I definitely am not enthralled with the world after 1000 hours of gameplay.

The real reason I'm posting this video is the second half of the song: the sample is amazing. This song is in 4/4 time signature, and the sample is originally in 6/8. This shouldn't work, but the producer of this beat contrived it perfectly. It's excellent.

This gentleman's infrared goggles shows us how the Kinect maps your living room: with thousands of points of light! It's incredible to see. The video is low-quality, but I appreciate the post nonetheless!

Oh no! Mario...please don't--you don't mean that...Oh goodness. I see your point, but just calm--oh...that's...inappropriate.

What does a young yuppie do with his skills of inception? I suppose he does things like this. The editing and picture quality of this video are awesome. It's worth multiple views, in my opinion.
